About Branches

Branches is all about thinking outward. God, incarnate, came to us in and through Jesus so that we might enter into a love relationship with him. And as we spend time with Jesus, we realize that we are to imitate him. To imitate Jesus we must be outward and to love as Jesus loved. But what does that look like? How can we imitate Jesus’ beautiful sentness and love people like he loves them?

Branches is a five week course that serves as a launching point to adopt the outward mindset of Jesus. As a class we’ll explore why we must be outward in mindset, how we are to intentionally love others in our modern context, and what are some of the obstacles to living an outward focused life. Besides class time, you will also have a partner who will help you accomplish your plans, and think through what might be the next step to intentionally love others.
