In 2026, Fellowship Church will read the whole Bible together and meet weekly to go deeper.

Why? Becase Jesus reveals himself through scripture, and we want to see him.

When: Tuesday evenings in 2026 from 6:30-8:00, starting Jan 13th

Where: The Upper Room in Fellowship Church’s building (1001 Colgate Drive, College Station, TX)

We might add more meetings dates soon!

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • To become rooted in God’s word and united to each other in awe of Him - and the many other fruits that come from that!

    Romans 12:1-3
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…

Worship of God involves renewing our minds. Let’s soak our minds in God’s word so that we would know, think, and believe God’s thoughts.

We don’t need to understand the book of Judges, for example, to follow Jesus. But God gave it to us for a reason! It contains riches that he means for us to have and to be transformed by. Come be renewed and amazed by Jesus!

  • Each week, the class will discuss and teach through the chapters of the Bible we read that week.

We’ll cover the main message of the chapters, of course, but we’ll also cover…

    • Ancient Middle Eastern context and worldview

    • Difficult and weird passages

    • The activity of angels and demons

    • Controversies about the text itself

    • Archaeological evidence of Biblical events

    • What it means to “have faith in” God

    • Themes like redemption, justice, and loyalty

    • How each part relates to the whole story and points to Jesus

    • And more!

  • The reading and class combined are only ~3-4 hours/week!

In order to do this together, we ask you to pledge that you intend to and will try to...

    1. Read the whole Bible with Fellowship Church in 2026.

    2. Attend the class every week you're able.

      • A couple with kids can both join with the plan to take turns attending.

      • Attendance via Zoom will be an option during the summer.

    3. Encourage and help others in the class - and receive others’ encouragement and help, too!

    4. We also ask that you pay $50.

      • With your $50, we will buy you a Faithlife Study Bible.

      • If you finish reading the Bible in 2026, you'll get your $50 back :)

We’re not asking for a promise, only your intention.

If you’re ready to do that, please sign up on the form!

  • Absolutely! We’d love that.

To commit to reading the whole Bible together, we ask you to pledge that you intend to and will try to...

    1. Read the whole Bible with Fellowship Church in 2026.

    2. Regularly gather with Fellowship Church in 2026, either a homegroup or Sunday morning.

    3. Encourage and help others who've made this commitment and receive others’ encouragement and help too! :)

If you’re ready to do that, please sign up on the form!

  • Great question! We ask for a commitment in order to serve everyone better.

When doing something together - especially something that takes persistent faithfulness, like reading the whole Bible in a year - everyone benefits more if those present are devoted to the task.

The commitment binds us as a group saying, “We’re doing this!”

And it enables us to encourage each other in a year-long journey. By committing, we invite each other to help us stay faithful.

  • Yes!

The first two meetings (Jan 13th and 20th) are open to anyone without commitment. If you’re on the fence, come check it out!

Starting January 27th, the class will be for those committed.

  • Yes!

If you decide a few or several months into the year that you want to join the class, you can make the commitment join.

  • Yes! We’re excited to provide that! We will record the audio from the class and put it on the church’s Spotify!

That’s a great backup resource for when you miss a class or for people who can’t attend at all because of their schedule. etc.

If you can get to class, though, definitely do! The class is much better than listening to the recording. Live human interaction is so good for the soul :)

And for those who can’t make it, the recording is a fantastic help!

  • Yes!

Anyone from any church can sign up for this class! We’d love that.

We want to serve anyone in town who wants to learn with us.
