In 2026, Fellowship Church will
read the whole Bible together and
gather each week to learn in depth about it.

Why?
Because through the scriptures, God comforts, nourishes, and saves us. We want that for every person.
And we know from experience that learning the whole Bible will change your life.
I (Doug, teacher of this class) went through a similar class twelve years ago. I learned a ton about God, and I became 10x more able to benefit from the Bible, for the rest of my life.
I went from mostly lost in the Bible to being able to open to any page and know where we are in the story.
I went from mostly confused by the Bible to mostly astonished by it and by the God who reveals himself in it.
It was a threshold event in my life. My walk with Jesus and my interaction with scripture will never be the same.
And I zealously believe that God can bless the next 50 years of your life through this class, too.
What would keep you from taking this class?
What will the class cover?
Each week, the class will discuss and teach through the chapters of the Bible you read that week.
We’ll draw out the main message of the chapters and see how the overall story unfolds, of course. But we’ll also cover…
Ancient Middle Eastern cultural background
Difficult and weird passages
The activity of angels and demons
Controversies about the text itself
Archaeological evidence
What it means to “have faith in” God
Themes like redemption, justice, and loyalty
How each story points to Jesus

Where and when?
Where: The Upper Room in Fellowship Church’s building (1001 Colgate Drive, College Station, TX)
When: Tuesday evenings in 2026 from 6:30-8:00, starting Jan 13th
The first class is Jan 13th, and the last class will be Dec 8th 2026.
We’ll skip 4-7 weeks (TBD) in between to pace ourselves.

What does the class require?
Only ~3 hours/week! The reading is about 1 hour and 15 min per week, and the class is 1.5 hours per week.
In order to do this together, we ask that you commit to it. Not asking for a promise! We only ask for your intention.

This is only a pledge of what you intend to do. We know things will come up.
You can attend the first two weeks of class with no commitment to see if it serves you.
